 Established in April 2000, Webster Associates is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. We offer a comprehensive range of accountancy and business advisory services to private individuals and companies in many sectors.
The past few years have seen many changes in tax and business legislation. We recognise the importance of keeping up to date through training and the use of information technology in order to provide the best possible service to our clients.
Our offices are conveniently located at the Eastlands Court Business Centre, St. Peters Road, Rugby, with parking, reception and meeting room facilities.

Our Team
Lawrence Webster
Lawrence studied Accountancy & Finance at Lancaster University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981, having trained with an old-established Rugby firm. After some years working in Coventry, he returned to Rugby and in 1985 became a partner with a successful local practice.
In April 2000, Lawrence set up Webster Associates, which has grown steadily since, mainly through client recommendations. Supported by a dedicated team who offer a range of skills and services, Lawrence maintains personal contact with all his clients, as he believes this is essential to understanding their business needs.
Paula Merrigan
Paula has been with the practice since it was established, having previously gained more than 10 years experience with two other local firms. In 2002, she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. A key member of the team, Paula looks after all aspects of accounting for our corporate and business clients and provides advice and assistance with their day to day queries.
Tracey Cheney
Tracey joined the practice in 2004, having previously worked in both general practice and industry. In early 2009, she passed the the Association of Taxation Technicians final exams with distinction. In addition to the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts, Tracey deals with the preparation of Tax Returns and uses her training to ensure our clients pay no more tax than necessary.
Debbie Whitmore
Debbie joined us in 2007 with a background in general practice, having passed the Association of Accounting Technicians exams in 2000. Debbie looks after our book-keeping, payroll and management accounts services and assists with the preparation of year end accounts.
Beryl Webster
Beryl is our practice manager and deals with the day to day administration of the office, liaising with clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and organising Lawrence. She is responsible for our company secretarial service and also provides advice and assistance to our construction industry clients.
